This gantry crane features a rated lifting capacity of 150 tons and adopts a long-span main girder structure adapted to ultra-wide prefabrication yards. Dafang’s technical team conducted multiple on-site surveys on site dimensions, foundation bearing capacity and urban wind control standards, and optimized the heavy-duty structure, outdoor anti-corrosion performance and variable-frequency safety control system to fully meet the hoisting requirements of rail transit prefabricated components.
Strict Non-standard Manufacturing Process for 100-ton-class Equipment Quality
As a super-large non-standard 100-ton-class gantry crane, the equipment undergoes multiple rigorous processes including structural welding, non-destructive testing, full-machine load testing and anti-corrosion coating. The whole manufacturing cycle lasts 68 days. High-standard full-process quality inspection ensures structural strength, welding accuracy and anti-corrosion performance for long-term stable heavy-duty operation.
The super-large gantry crane was transported to the Beijing construction site in separate batches. Super-heavy Long-span Box-type Main Girder
The crane adopts a dual-girder ultra-wide box welded structure. Both main girders and legs are made of thickened Q355 high-strength low-alloy steel plates. The extended main girder adapts to wide working spaces of prefabrication yards with high overall rigidity and no obvious deflection under full load. All load-bearing welds pass 100% ultrasonic non-destructive testing. Designed for high-level engineering operation, it supports 24-hour uninterrupted hoisting of heavy prefabricated parts such as shield segments and bridge steel formworks, resisting fatigue and cracking under long-term heavy loads.
Level-8 Wind-resistant Outdoor Steel Structure
The crane is equipped with widened and thickened leg support structure and heavy-duty travelling trolleys, increasing overall self-weight to achieve a standard Level-8 wind resistance, suitable for open-air construction in windy seasons. The whole machine adopts three-layer epoxy zinc-rich industrial anti-corrosion coating with Dafang’s signature red topcoat, featuring UV resistance and dust & rain erosion resistance. Multi-layer Safety Protection Electrical Control System
The full electrical system adopts variable-frequency speed regulation with dual braking protection for hoisting and travelling mechanisms. It is equipped with complete safety devices including overload limit, height limit, stroke limit, emergency stop and real-time wind speed monitoring, which automatically lock the travelling mechanism in strong wind. The control cabinet reaches IP54 dustproof and waterproof grade. Dual operation modes (cab centralized control + ground remote control) ensure intuitive and safe operation in line with urban construction safety specifications.
Dual-trolley Synchronous Lifting Structure for Stable Hoisting
Equipped with dual hoisting trolley combined lifting gear, the crane realizes two-point synchronous hoisting for heavy shield segments with uniform stress distribution, avoiding cracking and collision damage of concrete prefabricated parts. Wear-resistant and high-strength pulley blocks and steel wire ropes are adopted. The versatile lifting gear adapts to various specifications of segments and bridge formworks, greatly improving the efficiency of component transportation, stacking and loading in prefabrication yards.
On-Site Delivery & After-Sales
Due to its super-large size, the 100-ton-class gantry crane was transported to the site in separate batches. Our senior installation engineers stayed on-site to complete full procedures including main girder splicing, track calibration, electrical wiring and full-load pressure testing. Complete engineering inspection documents such as material test reports, factory certificates and third-party load test certificates were delivered for safety filing.
On-site practical training was provided for operation and maintenance teams, covering wind-resistant operation specifications and daily maintenance of heavy-duty equipment.
