Strengthening Fire Safety Skills, Upholding the Safety Baseline | Dafang Holding Group Conducts 2026 Work Safety Month Special Fire Safety Training

To further implement national Work Safety Month directives and align with the theme “Everyone Speaks Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response—Identifying and Rectifying Risk Hazards,” Dafang Holding Group recently organized a special fire safety lecture for the 2026 Work Safety Month. Representatives from various departments and shifts attended the training, featuring guest lecturer and fire safety instructor Liang Xin.

Prior to the session, Xue Fengyan, Head of the Safety and Environment Department at Dafang Heavy Machine, delivered a mobilization speech. Contextualizing the fire safety status across factory production and office environments, Xue clarified the session’s purpose, urging all staff to uphold the safety baseline, master practical fire prevention and evacuation skills, and integrate fire safety controls into daily inspections and operations while eliminating complacency.

During the lecture, Liang Xin utilized real-world fire incident cases to analyze high-frequency corporate hazards, such as electrical circuit overloads, cluttered debris, flammable material storage, and non-compliant hot work. He detailed key self-inspection points, standardized management of flame-retardant materials, alarm procedures, and initial fire response steps. Special emphasis was placed on popularizing the principles and operational steps for common equipment—including dry chemical and green water-based extinguishers, fire hoses, fire blankets, and smoke masks—demonstrating the standardized “Lift, Pull, Aim, Squeeze” technique for extinguishers to correct common user errors. Liang also addressed critical evacuation knowledge, including navigation through thick smoke, low-rise/high-rise evacuation, and self-rescue techniques.

Participants took detailed notes and engaged in Q&A regarding workshop fire prevention, dormitory electricity use, and warehouse safety. Staff members noted that the case warnings were vivid and the practical knowledge highly applicable, bridging gaps in their fire safety skills.

This training successfully integrated theoretical instruction, case warnings, and practical demonstration. Moving forward, Dafang Holding Group will continue to conduct regular fire drills, comprehensive factory hazard inspections, and tiered safety briefings to refine its long-term fire safety management mechanism and build a robust defense line for work safety.
